Cambodian skewered meats restaurant restaurant located on the main shopping street in Springvale. The restaurant is clean and is made to look trendy with a modern themed interior. I was disappointed to hear American rap music blasting in the background, with constant swearing and inappropriate non family friendly lyrics which really hampered the atmosphere. The service was polite and efficient with the skewers arriving quickly. It is not made clear on the menu but when you order the skewers alone they come with 3 skewers with a side of pickle. When ordered with rice, you get 4 skewers, side of pickle, extra salad and a small bowl of soup. The skewers themselves are great. Nice and smokey flavours and the meat was deliciously tender. The pickle on the side complimented the skewers nicely. I also tried the fish curry noodles which was on the blander side in both flavour as well as spice. Though the dish did work well with the skewers. Overall a great Cambodian skewer restaurant spoiled by some of the inappropriate music being blasted in the background.

have came here for multiple occasions. food is always fresh off the grill, consistent flavors n quality. super filling n always come with my family, the flavors remind me of my mum’s cambo cooking and is comforting

Love the skewers here - smoky flavours, tender and absolutely delicious. The pork skewers were definitely my favourite. There is a variety to choose from so there is something for everyone. The vermicelli salad was decent, though I did really like the crackling sprinkled on top. Wasn't too busy during lunch time so service was efficient and hospitable.

This is the second time and will be the last time we visit this place. A few months ago, we had our first visit at this restaurant. We were excited to try Cambodian food because it has similarities with Vietnamese street food. My favourite was beef skewer. We also had grilled pork rib with rice. The ribs were overcooked, so the ribs were burnt like charcoal. We let the girl who served us know the issue. She immediately went back to the kitchen and made fresh ones for us. Tonight, we wanted to come back to try something new. My boy waited for a long time for the grilled chicken and he ate only a bit and he told us the drumstick wasn't cooked. He could see fresh blood when he had a bite of the drumstick. We informed the waiter about the issue, and he took the dish away. After a few minutes, the owner brought back with a new dish with a small rice and the same chicken pieces that my son had. They tried to re-grill those pieces and brought them out for my son to eat? This is disgusting. How could they put the meal that someone was having and put on their grill again and gave back to the customer?Their cooking equipments get contaminated with the food eaten by their customers. They also removed all the salad and other stuff on the old dish. One of the pieces was burt to black. It looked terrible. (See the uploaded photo) I couldn't understand how they treat their customers like that? The waiter told us because my son already ate some of his meal so that's why they didn't want to make a new one for us? How much money they could save for the trouble was caused? They never cared about the customers. We didn't hear any apologises from anyone. The owner was very rude. He said he would refund and that was it. No solution at all. My boy had to share a bit rice and meat with my daughter. We went home when my boy was still hungry. First time ever I had such a bad experience with an Asian restaurant because we always love Asian food. I hope the owner read this and do better next time if he wants to have more customers. Selling nice food but not providing good service then no one will come back.
