We travel from Woodend to buy the Kebabs from here. They are the best by far anywhere in the Macedon Ranges. The lamb kebabs are nothing short of sensational! Tender, juicy and full of flavour! Generous helping of meat makes this worth the drive down the Calder! The family run business is warm and very welcoming. This lovely family works so hard to feed their hungry customers and they do not disappoint! Service and courtesy is tops! 😋 Display cabinets are clean and the dips, salads and meat look fresh and very appealing! It's wonderful to have such a great top rate takeaway in the Macedon Ranges.

It was worth the drive out.kebab was huge filled with well cooked meat, wrapped in warm toasted turkish bread. Chips were crispy and with perfect amount of chicken salt. Might cost a few dollars more than other kebab shops but you definitely get what you paid for. Highly recommended.

TLDR: The most amazing kebab I have ever tried. $21 kebab meal gives you enough kebab and chips to feed 2 regular people. You know a takeaway shop has to be good when they're in the middle of nowhere and they have such great reviews online. Unlike other kebab joints, "In The Belly Kebabs" has the most amazing soft, thick bread in any kebab I've tried. Each side of the wrap is around 1 cm thick! The lettuce separates the bread from the sauces, preventing the bread from becoming soggy. To offset the thickness of the bread, the kebab is stuffed to the brim with a generous portion of juicy, flavoursome meat. So much so, that the kebab feels at least 1 and a half times larger than a normal kebab (no joke, probably 2x). The portion of chips could easily satisfy two people. I've never had chips as perfect as these chips at any kebab joint. They're thick-cut, slightly sweet, chicken-salted, perfectly crisp and fluffy on the inside. They remind me more of 'fish and chips' chips than heavy, over-fried 'kebab' chips. If I could change anything, I'd add a little more sauce. My partner had to take two bites to eat through one layer of kebab, but the sauce was only on one half. Despite this, hands down the best kebab I've ever had.

Always on the lookout for the best food in Melbourne and this has got to be one of the best Kebabs in Melbourne. Not only is the meats top notch quality, but the service is incredible. You’d wish the staff at casual dining restaurants were as accomodating as this friendly lady who runs this family business. Mixed chicken & lamb HSP with garlic, chilli & BBQ sauce (5/5): At first $19 may seem like a lot but they are absurdly generous with their serving size and it comes with a can of soft drink. Normally my partner and I can finish a HSP, but we could only eat half. The lamb and chicken meat is not only the best tasting I’ve had in a HSP but it is most definitely made with love and care - not too fatty, meaty and full of flavour! Cannot forget about the chips. Beautifully seasoned and so crispy. Each bite was heavenly and not sickening at all. There wasn’t too much sauce which I liked bc the star was the meat. The lady who served us was honestly the sweetest. She was apologising for the out of date pricing on the menu which we understand due to the challenges faced for small businesses after COVID. She was so lovely to offer us a whole container of kofta and Turkish bread to try bc I was curious why they were so popular here. The bread was so fluffy and the kofta was a delightful bite of aroma. Would go so well with their dips. She even split one side with cheese as requested like cmon 5 star service! They deserve all the love and hype simply bc they are such a generous people who try their best to keep your bellies warm as their name suggests. Food: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Service: 5/5
